What do you think? Will cow urine drinks take off?

Cow urine the new taste sensation as India markets it as a soft drink

New taste sensation ... cow urine / Reuters

* India plans to launch cow urine drink
* Drink promotes ideology of Hindu-ness

JUST when you thought we were milking the cow for all it's worth, along comes a fresh idea: cow urine as a fizzy drink.

No, it's not a stunt. India's Hindu nationalist movement, the Cow Protection Department of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), says the drink is in the final stages of development.

The Times reports head of the department Om Prakash as saying the drink - called "gau jal", or "cow water" - in Sanskrit was undergoing laboratory tests and would be launched "very soon, maybe by the end of this year".

"Don't worry, it won't smell like urine and will be tasty too," he told The Times. "Its USP will be that it's going to be very healthy. It won't be like carbonated drinks and would be devoid of any toxins."

The Times reports the drink is the latest attempt to cleanse India of foreign influence and promote its ideology of Hindutva, or Hindu-ness.

Journey Through Life

I've learn't
that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

I've learn't
that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

I've learn't
that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

I've learn't
that you can keep going long after you can't. I've learned- that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.

I've learn't
that either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I've learn't
that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place.

I've learn't
that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences. .

I've learn't
that money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I've learn't
that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.

I've learn't
that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.

I've learn't
that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I've learn't
that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I've learn't
that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

I've learn't
that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I've learn't
that your family won't always be there for you. It may seem funny, but people you aren't related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again. Families aren't biological.

I've learn't
that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I've learn't
that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others, Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I've learn't
that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

I've learn't
that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.

I've learn't
that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I've learn't
that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret, It could change your life forever.

I've learn't
that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I've learn't
that your life can be changed in a matter of minutes, by people who don't even know you.

I've learn't
that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help.

I've learn't
that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

I've learn't
that the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon.

True

A dear brother has written his heart out for the girl he loves so much... you and I will know how he feel through this poem, hope one day his girl realises it too....wish you well with all the faith...

Time passes by as I watch you walk away

Finger by finger we are losing grasp

Pictures frozen in time are becoming clearer

The tears start to express what I cannot say

You have turned your back to me forever

I have been dying inside little by little

Going out of my mind in endless circles

Falling faster barely breathing

I’m half the man I thought I would be

Cause I lost a soul mate

You put me on the shelf and found somebody else

I never thought that you would ever do that

Said that you love me, said that you would never leave me

Maybe I just heard you wrong

Or maybe you gave up too soon

Damaged, scarred, forsaken, betrayed and broken

I cannot bear love again, NEVER

Emptiness and darkness envelope me from everywhere

Loneliness and regret consume me, I'm unable to share

I'm alive and I'm still breathing

And yet, my heart seems to have stopped beating

Your betrayal to our love, I will never forget

The affection and care you once showed me, all gone

What choice do I have but to sit back and bleed?

My dreams are all battered and torn

My trust, my faith seems so meaningless now

I'm unable to take this pain anymore

It’s just so real

Yet my heart tells me to forgive

Yet my heart tells me to love you

To let go of the past, to let the love live

But a broken heart cannot think any good

It's probably reacting just the way it should

I fell so hard that I could never get up again

Love has left me empty handed

But God forbid this ever happens to you

My prayers and thoughts tell you'll come back to me

You'll beg for my love, beg for a chance to see

How you can make up for all you have done

How you can change all those lies to nothing, just fun

I am broken, Yes but I can still love

And now as I turn away from you

I wish that I hadn't been so true and sincere to you

Everything I did, I did it for you

But If I ever get one single wish

I wish I could do it all over again, just to be with you

Time will change nothing at all

The scars and wounds run so deep there will never heal

This pain is just so real that time cannot erase them

True love, that’s what it’s called

My love has been vanquished

My dreams shattered, my life destroyed

It hurts to know how I've been played with, used and toyed

But I’ll carry my broken heart with me wherever I go

And you’ll always be a part of it, just like a tattoo

Looking back at you, I will try to refrain

You might have bewitched me but I'm not falling for it ever again

I know how to love but I cannot feel it

I don’t know what a kiss is or a hug

I don’t know how it feels to hold someone warm

I watch the sunrise and the sunset by myself

I look around and no one sees me

Just a shadow of my mistakes, my own shadow haunting me

All that was left is gone away, there’s nothing left to prove

It all seemed so beautiful till I lost what I had once fought for and won

I poured my heart out to you, humbled myself

And made myself miserable, just for your happiness

But with Hope and Faith

My spirit is broken and every night I’m cold

Every night I dream and I hope

That I will be whole again

Some day I will no longer be alone, I no longer will cry at night, I pray

But love is just a dream that I want to have and never wake up

Maybe some day I will have that dream

Only fairytales have endings, I’m not the lucky ones

But you are….

Au Domo Ni Iko

This is TRUE.

Do We Love................?

I really have been moved by this incident... Its hard to believe that this can be so true in our everyday lives... The friends we chose are smart, beautiful, RICH, fashionable, and all the good things in them, whereas the poor, not-so-intellgents, not so beautiful, dark skinned, FAT are always looked down upon... WHY?

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco. "Mom and Dad, I`m coming home, but I`ve a favor to ask. I have a friend I`d like to bring home with me." "Sure," they replied, "we`d love to meet him." "There`s something you should know," the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us." "I`m sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live." "No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us." "Son," said the father, "you don`t know what you`re asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can`t let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He`ll find a way to live on his own." At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn`t know, their son had only one arm and one leg. The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don`t like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren`t as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are.

love and life...

Thanks so much Moon for sharing such a lovely, beautiful piece of story and also an advice not to make a wrong decision which will lead to a hasty decision and eventually a bitter-heart between people who means a lot in your life but just because of some unimportant misunderstandings, you lose them. This story really shows the true meaning which life has to offer.

This story tells us something about LOVE & LIFE

My husband is S/W Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders.

Two years of courtship and now, five years into marriage, I would have to admit, that I am getting tired of it. The reasons of me loving him before, has now transformed into the cause of all my restlessness.

I am a sentimental woman and extremely sensitive when it comes to a relationship and my feelings. I yearn for the romantic moments, like a little girl yearning for candy. My husband is my complete opposite; his lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing romantic moments into our marriage has disheartened me about LOVE.

One day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce.

"Why?" he asked, shocked.

"I am tired. There are no reasons for everything in the world!" I answered.

He kept silent the whole night, seemingly in deep thought. My feeling of disappointment only increased. Here was a man who was not able to even express his predicament, so what else could I expect from him?

And finally he asked me: "What can I do to change your mind?"

Somebody said it right... It's hard to change a person's personality, and I guess, I have started losing faith in him.

Looking deep into his eyes I slowly answered: "Here is the question. If you can answer and convince my heart, I will change my mind.

Let's say, I want a flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, and we both are sure that picking the flower will cause your death. Will you do it for me?"

He said: "I will give you your answer tomorrow...." My hopes just sank by listening to his response.

I woke up the next morning to find him gone, and saw a piece of paper with his scratchy handwriting underneath a milk glass, on the dining table near the front door, that goes....

My dear, "I would not pick that flower for you, but....please allow me to explain the reasons further.....

This first line was already breaking my heart. I continued reading.

"When you use the computer you always mess up the Software programs, and you cry in front of the screen. I have to save my fingers so that I can help to restore the programs.

You always leave the house keys behind, thus I have to save my legs to rush home to open the door for you.

You love traveling but always lose your way in a new city. I have to save my eyes to show you the way.

You always have the cramps whenever your "good friend" approaches every month. I have to save my palms so that I can calm the cramps in your tummy.
You like to stay indoors, and I worry that you will be infected by infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to tell you jokes and stories to cure your boredom.

You always stare at the computer, and that will do nothing good for your eyes. I have to save my eyes so that when we grow old, I can help to clip your nails and help to remove those annoying white hairs. So I can also hold your hand while strolling down the beach, as you enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful sand...and tell you the colour of flowers, just like the colour of the glow on your young face...

Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone who loves you more than I do... I could not pick that flower yet, and die ... "

My tears fell on the letter, and blurred the ink of his handwriting... and as I continue on reading... "Now, that you have finished reading my answer, and if you are satisfied, please open the front door for I am standing outside bringing your favorite bread and fresh milk...

I rushed to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching tightly with his hands, the milk bottle and loaf of bread....Now I am very sure that no one will ever love me as much as he does, and I have decided to leave the flower alone...

That's LIFE, and LOVE. When one is surrounded by love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that lies in between the peace and dullness.

Love shows up in all forms; even in very small and cheeky forms. It has never been a model. It could be the dullest and most boring form ...

Flowers, and romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface of the relationship. Under all this, the pillar of true love stands... AND THAT'S LIFE

Three Secrets to Creating More Success

Set Can Do Goals

Set goals that move you toward successful results. People fail because they don’t know what they want or what they don’t want. Ask a friend, family member, or associate what they want in life. In most cases, they will pause and really think about what they want. Sometimes they can’t come up with an answer. Sometimes they may come up with a weak response. However, ask the following question, “What don’t you want in life?” and, in most situations, you will receive multiple, clear, and quick answers to your question. That’s because we concentrate on what we don’t want to happen instead of what we want to happen. In life, as in sports, we concentrate on “not losing” instead of concentrating how to “win.”

Set S-M-A-R-T-E-R (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely, Encouraging, Rewarding) goals that create a crystal clear roadmap for your success, and work to achieve these goals everyday.

Take Care of Your N-E-T-S
N-E-T-S stands for Network with Everyone Today for Success. Fill your NETS with positive people that will support your positive “can do” attitude. These people, while supporting your goals, will also help you pass roadblocks to achieve your goals. You will also make your NETS stronger by supporting their goals to create a mutually supportive situation.

Joy Fisher-Sykes always says, “Clean your NETS of people who have a “can’t do,” negative attitude, and who don’t support your quest to achieve your goals.” The more junk (negative people) in your NETS, the less room you have for more treasure (positive people). Take a close look at “friends,” family and co-workers and ask, “Do they support me and my “can do” attitude?” If they don’t, remove them from your NET. Keep your NET strong with positive people.

Concentrate on the Positive
Recent research shows that 75-80% of daily communication is negative. This would include negative self-talk, conversations with others, or the media (TV, radio, the internet, etc.).

Take back control of your mind and be responsible for your “can do” attitude. You can start with the following:

Concentrate on self-talk with positive solutions
Start your mornings with meditation. Concentrate on positive thoughts with positive results. Visualize, involving as many senses as possible, to intensify the visualization and make it real for you. Ask, “What does your success feel, look, sound, and taste like?” Be aware of negative self-talk, and replace it with positive self-talk.

Control the Communication
If it is a conversation, reframe the negative conversation into a more positive conversation. If someone is complaining endlessly, say, “Mike, I hear what you are saying. What solutions to you see to this problem?”

If the media is negative, tune it out or turn it off.

You can always walk away. You have that right.

Walk the Talk
Be consistent in your behavior, and act on your “can do” attitude.

Getting Coffee = Sexual Harassment?

If male supervisors ask a female underling to get them coffee, does such a request amount to sexual harassment? A federal court sitting in Pennsylvania recently faced that question.

What happened.A woman worked as a part-time receptionist for National Sales & Supply, of Bensalem, for 6 weeks. When two male vice presidents asked her to get coffee for them on an almost-daily basis, she complied a few times, but felt that the requests "reinforced outdated gender stereotypes" and bordered on harassment. When one of the VPs insisted via e-mail that one of her responsibilities was to make and bring him coffee, she responded that had she known this, she would never have taken the job. Nine minutes later, he sent an e-mail back to her telling her she was fired. She sued the company for sexual harassment. National asked the court to dismiss the case.

What the court said. The court interpreted the sexual harassment claim as a claim of a hostile work environment. She had to show that (1) she suffered intentional discrimination because of [her] sex; (2) the discrimination was pervasive and regular; (3) the discrimination detrimentally affected her; (4) the discrimination would detrimentally affect a reasonable person of the same sex in that position; and (5) the employer was responsible for it.

Sexual overtones aren`t necessarily required: Behavior that creates a barrier to the progress of women in the workplace may qualify as such, the court said, because it conveys the message that women do not belong, and that they are welcome in the workplace only if they will subvert their identities to the sexual stereotypes prevalent in that environment. Here, the court stated that the act of getting coffee is not, by itself, a gender-specific act, but that in the context of other indicators of sexism, getting coffee could evince a discriminatory intent.

However, comparing her evidence to that presented in support of similar successful claims of sexual harassment, the court found that there was no evidence of offensive statements or other servile acts (e.g., dropping off laundry or paying personal bills for the male superiors). "There is no evidence of spoken or written statements, demeaning or otherwise, relating even tangentially to sex or gender," the court stated, granting the motion to dismiss. Klopfenstein v. National Sales and Supply, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, No. 07-4004 (6/5/08).

Point to remember: As the court stated, in the context of other indicators of sexism, getting coffee could evince a discriminatory intent. But with no evidence of any demeaning statements relating even tangentially to sex or gender, the request that a female employee go for coffee does not amount to sexual harassment.

Most Difficult Questions Asked in the Interview !!!(With Answers)!!

Tell me about yourself.
My background to date has been centered around preparing myself to become the very best _____ I can become. Let me tell you specifically how I`ve prepared myself . . . ..............

Why should I hire you?
Because I sincerely believe that I`m the best person for the job. I realize that there are many other college students who have the ability to do this job. I also have that ability. But I also bring an additional quality that makes me the very best person for the job--my attitude for excellence. Not just giving lip service to excellence, but putting every part of myself into achieving it. In _____ and _____ I have consistently reached for becoming the very best I can become by doing the following . . . ............( your few achievemnts)

What is your long-range objective? Where do you want to be 10 or 15 years from now?
Although it`s certainly difficult to predict things far into the future, I know what direction I want to develop toward. Within five years, I would like to become the very best _____ your company has. In fact, my personal career mission statement is to become a world-class _____ in the _____ industry. I will work toward becoming the expert that others rely upon. And in doing so, I feel I will be fully prepared to take on any greater responsibilities that might be presented in the long term.

How has your education prepared you for your career?
As you will note on my resume, I`ve taken not only the required core classes in the _____ field, I`ve also gone above and beyond. I`ve taken every class the college has to offer in the field and also completed an independent study project specifically in this area. But it`s not just taking the classes to gain academic knowledge--I`ve taken each class, both inside and outside of my major, with this profession in mind. So when we`re studying _____ in _____, I`ve viewed it from the perspective of _____. In addition, I`ve always tried to keep a practical view of how the information would apply to my job. Not just theory, but how it would actually apply. My capstone course project in my final semester involved developing a real-world model of _____, which is very similar to what might be used within your company. Let me tell you more about it . . .

Are you a team player?
Very much so. In fact, I`ve had opportunities in both athletics and academics to develop my skills as a team player. I was involved in _____ at the intramural level, including leading my team in assists during the past year--I always try to help others achieve their best. In academics, I`ve worked on several team projects, serving as both a member and team leader. I`ve seen the value of working together as a team to achieve a greater goal than any one of us could have achieved individually. As an example . . .

Have you ever had a conflict with a boss or professor? How was it resolved?
Yes, I have had conflicts in the past. Never major ones, but certainly there have been situations where there was a disagreement that needed to be resolved. I`ve found that when conflict occurs, it`s because of a failure to see both sides of the situation. Therefore, I ask the other person to give me their perspective and at the same time ask that they allow me to fully explain my perspective. At that point, I would work with the person to find out if a compromise could be reached. If not, I would submit to their decision because they are my superior. In the end, you have to be willing to submit yourself to the directives of your superior, whether you`re in full agreement or not. An example of this was when . . .

What is your greatest weakness?
I would say my greatest weakness has been my lack of proper planning in the past. I would overcommit myself with too many variant tasks, then not be able to fully accomplish each as I would like. However, since I`ve come to recognize that weakness, I`ve taken steps to correct it. For example, I now carry a planning calendar in my pocket so that I can plan all of my appointments and "to do" items. Here, let me show you how I have this week planned out . . .

If I were to ask your professors to describe you, what would they say?
I believe they would say I`m a very energetic person, that I put my mind to the task at hand and see to it that it`s accomplished. They would say that if they ever had something that needed to be done, I was the person who they could always depend on to see that it was accomplished. They would say that I always took a keen interest in the subjects I was studying and always sought ways to apply the knowledge in real world settings. Am I just guessing that they would say these things? No, in fact, I`m quite certain they would say those things because I have with me several letters of recommendation from my professors, and those are their very words. Let me show you . . .

What qualities do you feel a successful manager should have?
The key quality should be leadership--the ability to be the visionary for the people who are working under them. The person who can set the course and direction for subordinates. A manager should also be a positive role model for others to follow. The highest calling of a true leader is inspiring others to reach the highest of their abilities. I`d like to tell you about a person who I consider to be a true leader . . .

If you had to live your life over again, what would you change?
That`s a good question. I realize that it can be very easy to continually look back and wish that things had been different in the past. But I also realize that things in the past cannot be changed, that only things in the future can be changed. That`s why I continually strive to improve myself each and every day and that`s why I`m working hard to continually increase my knowledge in the _____ field. That`s also the reason why I want to become the very best _____ your company has ever had. To make positive change. And all of that is still in the future. So in answer to your question, there isn`t anything in my past that I would change. I look only to the future to make changes in my life.

In reviewing the above responses, please remember that these are sample answers. Please do not rehearse them verbatim or adopt them as your own. They are meant to stir your creative juices and get you thinking about how to properly answer the broader range of questions that you will face.

Important !! CV/Resume !!

What is the best kind of resume?
There is no one best kind. The best resume is one that works best.

That`s obvious, isn`t it?

It should be, but most of the resumes I`ve seen aren`t designed with that "obvious" purpose in mind. They read like an obituary, simply listing jobs, duties and education. They are dull, boring and dead. What they aren`t, typically, is an advertisement to catch attention and stimulate interest.

But isn`t a resume supposed to tell your work history?

Says who? If a work history produces interviews, fine. Otherwise, no. A history or chronological resume can be effective for people who fit into a neat category. For example, if you have always worked as an accountant and want another job as an accountant, a work history may be appropriate. Even so, there are some pitfalls to avoid.

Like what?

Like length. Anything more than a page or so won`t be read. Like job duties. Anyone reading your resume probably knows what the duties of an accountant, or whatever, are. Instead of just listing duties, describe your accomplishments! Show how you have helped your employers. The typical resume says nothing about whether you did your job well or not, just that you did it.

What if you don`t have any spectacular successes?

That`s okay. An accomplishment doesn`t have to be major, just any task you performed well that helped your employer. There is no better way to prove you can help prospective employers solve their problems than to mention results you have produced in the past. Further, in listing accomplishments, you are not bragging, just stating facts. The reader will believe whatever their own conclusions are about those facts. They will doubt it if they hear from you how great you are. Accomplishments push an employer`s hot buttons buy focusing on what is in it for them in hiring you.

What else can a resume be, if not a history?

It can be an advertisement for you. Often, the most effective resume is one that shows what you can do for an employer, not just where you have been. A good resume embodies the "advertising theme" for your self-marketing campaign. It communicates a simple, clear, accurate, positive message emphasizing the benefits an employer will gain by hiring you. It is often best organized around skills, not jobs. For example, the main headings for a manager`s resume might be: Decision Making and Problem Solving;, Planning and Organizing; and Communication and Directing. Relevant accomplishments from several jobs are listed under each of these headings, proving you have that skill. A brief history of jobs and schooling might be at the bottom of the page. This can all fits on one page, is more memorable and it leads them to their own conclusion that you are good at what you do.

How do you know what skills to emphasize?

Figure out what your prospective employer is looking for, then emphasize that.

What if different job skills are wanted for various jobs?

Then you need more than one resume. Ideally, you should have a unique resume for each prospective employer.

That`s a lot of trouble, isn't it?

Not really. With word processing, it is easy to make different resumes once you have developed a list of accomplishments. Besides, if you are using your resume properly, you will not need many of them. The most important purpose of a resume is to think through your image, or "unique selling proposition". In an effective job search, the resume is mainly a script to use in talking about yourself. The best time to give your resume is at the end of the interview as a tangible reminder of the message you have been conveying.

You`re saying that people rely too much on resumes?

Exactly! But that`s another story.

Finding A Job - 4 Steps To Success !!!

Finding a job is a difficult process. If this is the first time you are looking for a job, you may be very nervous and worried about whether you will find one or not. The following steps will help you gain more chances of getting your desired job.

KNOW WHAT YOU WANT:This may sound simple but it is an essential factor making your success. You should ask yourself questions to find out which job suits you the best. Dont make your choice too
general. Make it specific and detailed. You have to focus on a certain work, a defined position.Nothing is worse than a vague idea. This will be more important later when you write the motivation letter or when you are interviewed. The employers are usually much more interested in applicants who are determined and have a clear idea about their strong and weak points, about what they exactly want and how they will do it.

SEARCH FOR INFORMATION:The information you have to search is everything about the companies you like, about the current status of your desired job or about any possible alternatives. You have to gather much information before making a decision. In addition, if you want to get a job, you have to master all public information about the company you apply to. The website of that company will help you a lot. If you know anyone working in that company, go and ask him for more information. Maybe he will help you with a lot of useful news and info. Having much information in hand doesnt only help you make a better choice but also helps you a great deal later, when you are interviewed. Employers may ask you some questions about their company and you will score more points if you have good knowledge about the history, development and current status of the company.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR APPLICATION:Your application packet is your application form, a letter of motivation, your CV and a letter of recommendation if possible.Choose the CV type which suits
you the best. If you have worked for another company before, you shouldnt describe much about what you did, but tell about your achievements and your good results. However,if you haven`t got
much working experience, you should write more about your skills and certifications as well as your extra activities and how eager and diligent you are in any activity.Be confident. You should show the employer that you believe that you are the right person for the position. Your motivation letter has to show that. If you dont believe in yourself, how can you gain the employers belief? However, self-confidence doesn`t mean arrogance.Be careful with your writing
and dont make people feel that you are boasting about yourself.

NEVER GIVE UP:There are many difficulties and obstacles in finding a job nowadays.People searching for jobs always outnumber jobs available.Nothing is easy, especially if its your first time. There is rarely anyone that can get his wished job right from the first time of application. Always keep trying and never be disheartened, your desired job will be there for you.

A Positive Attitude Is The Key To a Better Life

Surely you`ve known someone in your life with a negative attitude and so you know what that means. People don`t want to be around such a person, whose negativity affects his job, his relationships with people around him at work, as well as his social interactions.

What if you are a person like this? What if you have a negative outlook, and it is spilling over into various aspects of your life? Even if your job performance has been suffering, or if people are no longer welcoming your company, you do not need to live with these consequences - because you do not need to hold onto the attitude which has caused them!

Your world will change when you have a positive attitudfe! Soon after you have begun to apply this principle, you will see this for yourself!

A negative attitude will dampen your spirits and hold you down; a positive attitude will help bring you back up. Negativity will keep you focused on everything that is wrong, everything that has ever been wrong; but a positive attitude will bring your focus to everything that is right and better. The very best way to look at the subject, though, is to remind yourself that while a negative attitude will limit you, a positive attitude will go a long way in getting rid of those limits. If you think about how much a negative attitude has limited you, this in itself should be a great motivating factor!

Most people do not like to acknowledge that they are limiting themselves and their prospects with their own attitudes and behavior. When you start to replace the "cannot" with "can," you will see how much power there is in your own attitude! You will feel that you have more potential, as well as the ability to reach your potential ` while the only thing that has actually changed is your own attitude! Goal-setting and making plans will become much easier, and you will find that you can accomplish much more than you had previously thought you could!

When you take on a new, positive attitude, you will experience wonderful results with other people. When you change your attitude people will notice and interact with you instead of shying away from the person you were before - a constant complainer who rarely had anything positive to say.

A positive attitude will work wonders in how you feel about yourself, also. You will find a new appreciation of yourself and your life once you stop looking for what`s wrong with you. You will find that you like your life more than you did before ` and that you like yourself better, too!

If you are not yet convinced, perhaps you would like to give it a try! When some of these former negative feelings, ideas or thoughts creep back into your conscience mind, push them away and replace them with positive, uplifting and good thoughts, feelings and ideas. It will not be long before you experience results - Andrea

Do you know where you`re going in life???

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican village. An American tourist complimented the Mexican fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked “How long it took him to catch them?”
"Not very long," answered the Mexican. "But then, why didn`t you stay out longer and catch more?" asked the American.

The Mexican explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs and those of his family.

The American asked, "But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

"I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, and take a siesta with my wife. In the evenings, I go into the village to see my friends, play the guitar, and sing a few songs... I have a full life."

The American interrupted, "I have an MBA from Harvard, and I can help you! You should start by fishing longer every day. You can then sell the extra fish you catch. With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."

"And after that?" asked the Mexican. “With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City, Los Angeles, or even New York City! From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."

"How long would that take?" asked the Mexican? "Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years," replied the American. "And after that?"

Well, my friend, that`s when it gets really interesting," answered the American, laughing. "When your business gets really big, you can cart Selling stocks and make millions!"

“Millions? Really? And after that?" said the Mexican.

"After that you`ll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, sleep late, play with your children, catch a few fish, take a siesta with your wife and spend your evenings doing what you like and enjoying your friends."

"With all due respect sir, but that`s exactly what I am doing now. So what’s the point wasting twenty-five years?" asked the Mexican.
And the moral is: Know where you`re going in life...you may already be there.

Why Living with People Is So Difficult !!!

The most difficult thing to do is to live in peace and harmony with people. It is, perhaps, easier to live with birds and animals. Why is living withpeople a problem?

We know that fire is hot and we accept that fact. If we are burnt by
touching fire, we do not blame it. If a whole house is burnt down, we may condemn other factors or blame our negligence, but would accept fire as it is. Its place is undeniable and it is not rejected. Similarly, we accept the coolness of ice, the beauty of flowers, fruits, trees and plants. Again, if we are admiring a beautiful, full moon and someone else comes and starts appreciating it, we don`t say, "Why are you looking at my moon? You have no
right to see it!" There is no sense of ownership, no possessiveness; there is acceptance without any projection of likes and dislikes.

The Bhagavad Gita says that a wise person moves everywhere with love and affection. Like the wind blowing freely, he does not get attached to anything. He accepts all. Sometimes people behave nicely, sometimes they donʼt.This neither elates nor depresses the wise person. "Such a man of wisdom lives with his senses under control, free from personal likes and dislikes, and therefore, enjoys every object, place, situation and person".

Also, we find it difficult to live with people because we have too many expectations of them. If I expect something of another, that person may also expect something of me. Furthermore, I am unable to fulfill my own expectations of myself. I want to do so many things, but I am unable to do them. Thus, we feel disappointed and frustrated with ourselves, and aggrieved or upset with others when they fail to satisfy our expectations. I saw a sticker that said, "Don`t try to change me. Accept me as I am".It is important to understand the message clearly and completely. The message is that one should accept the fact as it is. Then if a change is necessary, try to make that change, but do not insist on it.

Every parent wants the child to perform well and excel whether in sports or in studies.
There is nothing wrong with that. But, to expect something that may not be possible for the child to do, and unnecessarily apply pressure and force will cause frustration to all.

When one is living with people it may not be possible to have no
expectations at all, so one should have reasonable expectations. An
artistically inclined child with no aptitude for commerce should not be forced into the family business. Expectations should be reasonable and based on knowledge and wisdom.

As far as nature or the moon is concerned, we do not feel a sense of
ownership or possessiveness. But with regard to people this feeling is deep-seated and can be very destructive. What we need to have is love and affection. Along with that there should be freedom and space, too.

Two hands joined together leave a gap and can be easily separated.
Similarly, we should give space to people. Often we hear people say, "Give me some space please!" If you love a bird, will you cage it and expect it to be happy? It is not possible to love someone and also confine them in that love.

Power of Positive Talk

I remember my dad teaching me the power of language at a very young age. Not only did my dad understand that specific words affect our mental pictures, but he understood words are a powerful programming factor in lifelong success.

One particularly interesting event occurred when I was eight. As a kid, I was always climbing trees, poles, and literally hanging around upside down from the rafters of our lake house. So, it came to no surprise for my dad to find me at the top of a 30-foot tree swinging back and forth. My little eight-year-old brain didn't realize the tree could break or I could get hurt. I just thought it was fun to be up so high.

My older cousin, Tammy, was also in the same tree. She was hanging on the first big limb, about ten feet below me. Tammy's mother also noticed us at the exact time my dad did. About that time a huge gust of wind came over the tree. I could hear the leaves start to rattle and the tree begin to sway. I remember my dad's voice over the wind yell, "Bart, Hold on tightly." So I did. The next thing I know, I heard Tammy screaming at the top of her lungs, laying flat on the ground. She had fallen out of the tree.

I scampered down the tree to safety. My dad later told me why she fell and I did not. Apparently, when Tammy's mother felt the gust of wind, she yelled out, "Tammy, don't fall!" And Tammy did... fall.

My dad then explained to me that the mind has a very difficult time processing a negative image. In fact, people who rely on internal pictures cannot see a negative at all. In order for Tammy to process the command of not falling, her nine-year-old brain had to first imagine falling, then try to tell the brain not to do what it just imagined. Whereas, my eight-year-old brain instantly had an internal image of me hanging on tightly.

This concept is especially useful when you are attempting to break a habit or set a goal. You can't visualize not doing something. The only way to properly visualize not doing something is to actually find a word for what you want to do and visualize that. For example, when I was thirteen years old, I played for my junior high school football team. I tried so hard to be good, but I just couldn't get it together at that age. I remember hearing the words run through my head as I was running out for a pass, "Don't drop it!" Naturally, I dropped the ball.

My coaches were not skilled enough to teach us proper "self-talk." They just thought some kids could catch and others couldn't. I'll never make it pro, but I'm now a pretty good Sunday afternoon football player, because all my internal dialogue is positive and encourages me to win. I wish my dad had coached me playing football instead of just climbing trees. I might have had a longer football career.

Here is a very easy demonstration to teach your kids and your friends the power of a toxic vocabulary. Ask them to hold a pen or pencil. Hand it to them. Now, follow my instructions carefully. Say to them, "Okay, try to drop the pencil." Observe what they do.

Most people release their hands and watch the pencil hit the floor. You respond, "You weren't paying attention. I said TRY to drop the pencil. Now please do it again." Most people then pick up the pencil and pretend to be in excruciating pain while their hand tries but fails to drop the pencil.

The point is made.

If you tell your brain you will "give it a try," you are actually telling your brain to fail. I have a "no try" rule in my house and with everyone I interact with. Either people will do it or they won't. Either they will be at the party or they won't. I'm brutal when people attempt to lie to me by using the word try. Do they think I don't know they are really telegraphing to the world they have no intention of doing it but they want me to give them brownie points for pretended effort? You will never hear the words "I'll try" come out of my mouth unless I'm teaching this concept in a seminar.

If you "try" and do something, your unconscious mind has permission not to succeed. If I truly can't make a decision I will tell the truth. "Sorry John. I'm not sure if I will be at your party or not. I've got an outstanding commitment. If that falls through, I will be here. Otherwise, I will not. Thanks for the invite."

People respect honesty. So remove the word "try" from your vocabulary.

My dad also told me that psychologists claim it takes seventeen positive statements to offset one negative statement. I have no idea if it is true, but the logic holds true. It might take up to seventeen compliments to offset the emotional damage of one harsh criticism.

These are concepts that are especially useful when raising children.

Ask yourself how many compliments you give yourself daily versus how many criticisms. Heck, I know you are talking to yourself all day long. We all have internal voices that give us direction.

So, are you giving yourself the 17:1 ratio or are you shortchanging yourself with toxic self-talk like, " I'm fat. Nobody will like me. I'll try this diet. I'm not good enough. I'm so stupid. I'm broke, etc. etc."

If our parents can set a lifetime of programming with one wrong statement, imagine the kind of programming you are doing on a daily basis with your own internal dialogue. Here is a list of Toxic Vocabulary words.

Notice when you or other people use them.

Ø But: Negates any words that are stated before it.
Ø Try: Presupposes failure.
Ø If: Presupposes that you may not.
Ø Might: It does nothing definite. It leaves options for your listener.
Ø Would Have: Past tense that draws attention to things that didn't actually happen.
Ø Should Have: Past tense that draws attention to things that didn't actually happen (and implies guilt.)
Ø Could Have: Past tense that draws attention to things that didn't actually happen but the person tries to take credit as if it did happen.
Ø Can't Don't: These words force the listener to focus on exactly the opposite of what you want. This is a classic mistake that parents and coaches make without knowing the damage of this linguistic error.

Examples:
Toxic phrase: "Don't drop the ball!"
Likely result: Drops the ball
Better language: "Catch the ball!"

Toxic phrase: "You shouldn't watch so much television."
Likely result: Watches more television.

Better language: "I read too much television makes people stupid. You might find yourself turning that TV off and picking up one of those books more often!"

Exercise: Take a moment to write down all the phrases you use on a daily basis or any Toxic self-talk that you have noticed yourself using. Write these phrases down so you will begin to catch yourself as they occur and change them.

Five Questions That Help You Make the Most of Your Time

Questions have the power to instantly change your focus and put you into a productive frame of mind.

These five simple time management questions will immediately direct your attention, your focus, and your thinking toward your top priorities and away from distractions.

Just ask yourself these questions habitually throughout the day, and you will start making better use of your time.

1. What is the most valuable use of my time right now?

This is a slight variation of a question developed by time management expert Alan Lakein.

The purpose of this question is to shift your focus to what is most important and valuable at this moment. It is a perfect question to ask whenever you are unsure about what to do next, whenever you face an unexpected interruption, or whenever you feel that you are not making good use of your time.

For example, let's say you find yourself with an extra 20 minutes of unscheduled time. Asking yourself "What is the most valuable use of my time right now?" will help you find an important task for the time you have available.

2. What am I ultimately trying to accomplish?

The purpose of this question is to focus your thinking on your real objectives and goals -- the real reasons you are working on your projects and task

Asking this question habitually will help you avoid getting sidetracked, drifting into trivia, or falling into perfectionism. You can use this powerful question for all your projects.

For example, while preparing a presentation, you can easily get sucked into less valuable work when you start playing with the formatting, or adding bells and whistles, instead of working on the content.

The work seems important because it is connected to your presentation project, but when you take a closer look, you realize that you are wasting your time on details that don't really matter.

Asking this question will help you refocus your efforts on your real objectives and away from trivial matters. If it turns out that the formatting details are important for this project, you'll recognize this as well and give them the attention they deserve.

This question can also help you find and eliminate useless tasks that don't contribute toward your ultimate goals.

3. What am I giving up to do this?

Whenever you choose to do something, you automatically reject everything else you could have done during that time.

The purpose of this question is to help you realize what you are giving up in order to undertake a task or project. Once you recognize the true cost of an activity, you may decide that it is not how you really want to spend your time.

Asking this question before you take on a new task or project will help you stay focused on what really matters. It will also help you recognize when you should be saying no to that new request.

You should also ask this question about activities that you are already doing on a regular basis. These could be things like volunteering to do some work for your trade association, chairing a committee, or serving on the board of a community organization.

While all of these things may be valuable undertakings, you may be sacrificing something even more important to do them. Asking "What am I giving up to do this?" may turn out to be a real eye opener.

You probably wouldn't consciously sacrifice time with your family in order to participate in a committee you don't care about, but you might be doing it by default if you don't examine your existing commitments on a regular basis.

4. What are my three most important projects or tasks today?

The purpose of this question is to help you make use of the 80/20 rule every day. The 80/20 rule states that 80 percent of the value is contained in only 20 percent of the items. The top two or three projects and tasks in any given day could account for up to 80 percent of your day's value, so give them the time and priority they deserve.

If you practice weekly planning, you can change this question to "What are the three most important projects for this week?"

5. Should I continue doing this?

This is a slight variation of the first two questions, but shifts the focus toward what to stop doing rather than what to start doing.

Deciding to stop doing something that is no longer valuable is often more important than actually deciding to start doing something else.

This is a perfect question to ask whenever you feel you may be wasting time trying to perfect something that should already be done, or when you feel stuck in a commitment that is no longer serving your long-term objectives.

Keys to Success:

* Make it a habit. At first, you'll have to keep reminding yourself to ask these questions over and over again. However, if you keep asking consistently, eventually they will become a habit that will serve you for the rest of your life.

* Use these three steps whenever you have to make a time management decision: pause to think before you react, use questions to put you in the right frame of mind, and do the right thing.

* Keep asking until you get an answer. Sometimes you won't get an answer to these questions right away; just keep asking while you review your projects and task. The right answer will come.

How To Stay Motivated When It`s So Easy To Get Discouraged !!

I think it`s safe to say that if you are reading this you have had times when being discouraged was much easier then staying motivated. This is an awful feeling because you want to be motivated but everything seems to be going wrong and getting you down. Here are 3 keys to stay motivated when it’s so easy to be discouraged.

1. Watch something motivating.
For me, this is one of the best things that I can do. With websites like youtube and metacafe, it’s very easy to look up videos that will motivate and inspire you. It’s great to be able to watch something about someone that has gone through something worse then you and come out the winner. I can’t help but to stay motivated when I see these kinds of things.

2. Remember your reasons why.
There are times when you may feel very discouraged but it’s important to not forget why you are doing what you are doing. In the midst of disappointment and discouragement it can be very easy to forget your ‘why’. Take some time and reinforce in your mind your ‘why’. This may be all you need to stay motivated and keep on going.

3. Talk with your mentor.
Whenever things get discouraging it’s easy to make them even worse in your mind. If you are finding it hard to stay motivated, talk about it to your mentor. They will be able to help put things back into perspective for you as well as encourage you. Sometimes all you need is to be able to talk with someone that can show that it’s not as big a deal as you think it is.
